The Bible study leaders at Parkwood met Tina (name changed) right after a block party on the property last year. She has two children and told the leaders that her husband had just died a few weeks prior. The family was dependent on his income, and after his death, she could no longer pay the rent for their home. So, she was living at Parkwood Apartments with her sister until she could find work/income. She seemed very lonely and hopeless. The Bible study leaders have prayed with her about various needs, as asked, and invited her to Bible study but she does not want to come and still seems distant. They are not sure how best to help her and comfort her, and could use someone to intentionally befriend and help Tina through this difficult time in her life.
