Harold’ (name changed) various disabilities, coupled with those of his wife, have facilitated his inability to provide for his family, keep up his home and maintain his own health. Thus, Harold often needs assistance with bills and is in poor heath. Still, Harold keeps a cheerful heart and has exhibited a servant’s spirit. When Presidential Garden’s Bible study leaders approached Harold about Bible study, he congenially offered to have the children’s Bible study in his apartment, although he himself did not wish to attend the adult Bible study. Throughout the time Mission Norman workers have known Harold, then, his habit has always been to help others, even though he himself has needs. Also, Harold has many characteristics and a general attitude which communicate that he is in need of guidance in his walk with God. Mission Norman workers are currently trying to build trust with Harold and help him understand how to follow Jesus more closely. Harold has also recently made improvement in his health and is going back to school, which have opened up additional doors to talk to Harold about his spiritual life.
