GOD has been working in powerful ways at Mission Norman. There are many awesome stories about what GOD has done. We want to give our testimonies so that our light may “shine before men, that they may see [our] good deeds and praise [our] Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16 We do not wish to brag of our own ability, but only in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We only wish to brag about what GOD has done through us.
There are countless stories about GOD has moved here and this website only posts a few of them. We hope that they inspire you, encourage you, and deepen your relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
There are many awesome things happening at Mission Norman, but we do not have time to tell you about all of them. This story, however, is a remarkable one that happened this month.
David Hess has been serving with Mission Norman for several years and has been a Christian for many years, but his wife, Leslie, was saved in 1993, but never completely accepted the Lord. Throughout the years, David has faithfully prayed that his wife would come to know Jesus in a new way.
Leslie lived in her own spiritual ways and was a Buddhist for a long time. For the last year, she had been thinking about converting from Buddhism to Christianity, but had made no decision yet. January 27, David’s prayers were answered. His wife told him that she had accepted Jesus to be her Lord and savior.
Since Leslie accepted Jesus, she has been regularly attending church. She testifies about what a difference that Jesus has made in her life. Leslie’s story is an awesome example about how God answers prayer.
