Food Pantry Activities

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by My Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me The Food Pantry something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me... I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for Me.’”
—Matthew 25:34–36&40

The Mission Norman food pantry exists to feed people in need in order to share with them the love of God and earn the opportunity to share the gospel with them.

Recipients may receive food once every 30 days. The amount of food given is determined by the number of people living in a household. If recipients request food before the 30 days are completed, if their need is pressing, Mission Norman volunteers will give recipients an emergency box of food. The emergency box is significantly smaller than the regular box, but will help them for a day or two.

By reducing a family's food expenses, Mission Norman allows them to spend that money else where, such as for rent, utilities, gasoline, etc. This helps families just scrapping by to make it through another month.
