Mission Norman is working hard to spread the good news about Jesus Christ to Central Oklahoma. It uses several main strategies to do so: the food pantry, Bible studies at apartment complexes, and is currently building a homeless shelter.
These activities help people get back on their feet and pour love into them, but their main goal is to lead to Jesus and to disciple them. Mission Norman does not know how people can see the love of Jesus in us, if we do not help them in their time of need. As Isaiah 58:10 says, “If you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noon day.” Helping the people in their time of need is Mission Norman's calling. We want to help the oppressed and the needy in order to show them and teach them about Jesus' great love.
Mission Norman reaches out to the community in many ways. Youth groups from around the country come and stay at the Mission Center and take part in various projects experiencing missionary life. Here are some recent youth group visits.
